RADIANT’s Preparedness for COVID-19: The life after COVID-19 outbreak endures a tough time, perhaps one of the most challenging times in the history of humanity, as we know it, but we shall prevail. While we embrace the new course of living and working, it’s essential to stay positive and dare difficulties.

At Radiant Dental Care, we have ensured a healthy and safe environment for all those who are stepping into our clinics. When it comes to Patient Management, Hygiene, Facility Considerations, Equipment Considerations, Administrative Controls, and Work Practices, we strictly follow the Guidelines and Protocols outlined by MoHFW, India and other Dental affiliate bodies for Dental professionals.

Patient Safety remains Our Top Priority

Given below are the Ten Important precautionary measures being followed in our clinics:

2. Touch-free Sanitizer

Touch-free alcohol sanitizers are placed in convenient location.

3. Patient Declaration

At Radiant Dental Care, We screen all our visitors at check-in with due precaution.  All visitors are required to fill out the patient-declaration form in a prescribed format. We will make a decision on access to the clinic based on the answers.

4. Non-Contact IR Thermometers

We check the visitor’s body temperature using a non-contact forehead thermometer. The contactless temperature measurement feature of infrared thermometers make them ideal for reading the temperature of patients suffering from contagious diseases such as the COVID-19, as one of the key symptoms is high fever.

5. Air Purification in Treatment Rooms

We have installed Air purifiers that remove 99.97% airborne pollutants with a 4-stage filtration process through double-layered H13 Grade TRUE HEPA Filter and pre-filter activated carbon filter.
The Air purifier eliminates microbes,  dangerous particles and can capture many airborne germs and nonliving pollutants such as delicate particulate matter.

6. UV Light Disinfection

At Radiant Dental Care, we accomplish disinfection by using UV radiation technology, which effectively kills the novel virus.
UV light disinfection is one of the most effective ways to combat the  COVID -19 virus, especially in dental clinics. This is a game-changer and when used with correct protocols can eliminate the virus and stop the spread of disease. We use a UV Disinfection lamp, which is certified by a NABL Accredited Lab, that sterilizes any surface with powerful UVC light and kills up to 99% of surface germs and bacteria, including the Coronavirus strain (COVID-19).

7. Maintaining Social Distancing

We strictly follow social distancing. Limiting face-to-face contact with others is the best way to reduce the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The staff are informed to maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between themselves and others.

8. Well Ventilated, Spacious Clinic

To help prevent airborne infections, adequate ventilation is provided in our health-care facilities, particularly in all patient-care areas. Our clinics are spacious and appropriately designed for natural cross ventilation.

9.PPE For All Dental Professionals

To prevent and reduce the risk of disease transmission, our dental professionals (Drs and Nursing staff)  wear Disposable Personal Protective Equipment when performing Dental Procedures. The equipment protects dentists’ faces, eyes, hands, and bodies. Once a procedure is complete, the PPE is disposed off and a new one is used for  the next procedure

10. Disinfection of Clinic Before and After Treatment

Infection control is an essential part of the culture in all our Clinics. At Radiant Dental Care, we clean and disinfect the treatment rooms before and after every dental procedure using the latest cleaning chemicals to counteract healthcare-associated infection (HAI)-caused by pathogens and viruses.

11. Biomedical Waste Management.

At Radiant Dental Care, We strictly ensure that the Bio-Medical Waste is disposed off in the designated area and as per the Protocols of segregation and disposal of the same.
Broad areas being controlled in biomedical waste management across all our clinics include generation, accumulation, handling, storage, transport, and disposal.
